We are hosting our annual Meet the Chick Day here at GMF. Baby lovers of all ages are welcome to attend and see why we are so excited about spring. Our educator will be on hand to create a special craft with the children and teach all of us about the life of a laying hen on our farm.
Come and join us this Saturday, March 9th, 2013 from 10am-1pm.
The Farmstand is open for the season. Our hours for March are Thursday - Sunday, 8 am - 6 pm. We have stocked up and are excited to be back. Come on in and pretend it's spring with us!
The Farmstand is closed for the season, but we are busy working on our plans for next year. We are still taking sign-ups for the 2013 summer season and booking events, field trips and tours as well. Feel free to call the Farmstand at 978-468-3720 with any questions you may have.
We are now taking orders for our own chickens and for holiday pies and cakes. You can use our new online store here or call the Farmstand to place your order.
In conjunction with Santa's Hayride on December 15th, we are pleased to announce that Santa has agreed to pick the winner of the Dollhouse raffle. He is very excited to be a part of this gift to someone special out there. Please join us for the Hayride, ornament-making and the announcement on December 15th from 12pm to 3pm.
We are currently selling our Golden Comet laying hens to those of you who would like to start your own flock. They are excellent, proven layers and cost only $10/bird. Come to the Farmstand and we'll give you a box and you can go out to our hens and catch the ones you like the best. Thank you!
Green Meadows welcomes any and all to attend the re-dedication of our fields to the fallen heroes that served under Major General George Patton on November 10th, 2012 at 10 am. Permanant signs have been place in all of our fields to commemorate their service. Veterans and their families are particularly welcomed and after the dedication there will be a hayride to visit each of the signs around the farm.
The Farmstand will be opening Friday at noon. National Grid has told us that we should be up and running by then. Keep your fingers crossed!
Just wanted to let you know that we will be closed tomorrow, Monday, due to Hurricane Sandy. Be safe and stay dry while we weather the storm. Thank you!
