Job Openings at Green Meadows Farm
We are currently fully staffed for the 2008 season, but feel free to check in at the farmstand in June to see if we need additional help in the fields or in the farmstand.
About Us
|
Joanne Patton, Owner/Partner
Joanne Patton is the widow of Green Meadows Farm’s founder, Major General George S. Patton. She assumed his role in recent years, overseeing the Farm Manager and the firewood operations, in conjunction with her family – all supporters of organic agriculture. Joanne’s travels as an Army wife made her an aventurous eater. All vegetables are her favorites – but eggplant (especially in her caviar recipe) is tops! |
|
Andrew Rodgers, Farm Manager and
Diana Rodgers Aka “The Farmer’s Wife”
Andrew has been with Green Meadows Farm since 2003. He oversees the farm crew, livestock, the CSA, wholesale and farmstand business. He loves weeding, talking politics and his favorite vegetable is garlic.
Diana works with Andrew to oversee the Farmstand and runs special events, writes the CSA newsletter and marketing for the farm. She is also mom to Anson and Phoebe, young farmers in training. Her favorite vegetable is asparagus. |
