Summer CSA

The Summer Produce CSA: Here's How It Works...
Summer CSA shareholders pay for their vegetable "share" upfront and receive a portion of the farm's harvest weekly for 20 weeks, from early June through the end of October. Members receive the freshest, highest quality, certified organic produce available. When siging up for the CSA, members pick their distribution day. They must come to the farm for their share on their pick up day. This helps us know how much produce to harvest each day. Please click here for the CSA Member Agreement and more information.

The Risk

Each growing season brings unique challenges and surprises. Occasionally a crop may fail due to conditions beyond our control, but we will keep you informed of the current conditions in our fields with our weekly newsletter. We like to keep our customers informed so that they can share in the bounty of the season. Our goal is to provide you with an abundance throughout the growing season by growing a variety of produce.

The Harvest

Seasonality affects the size of your weekly share, but typically you will receive a large bag of produce. Here is a sample of what varieties you can expect:

June
Head lettuce, Radishes, Spinach, pac choi, Mesclun mix, Arugula, Kale, Swiss Chard, Peas (PYO), Beets, summer squash, scallions and a mix of herbs.

August
